.I have wanted one of these ever since I saw that they came in red (my favorite color). Plus I was curious as to how aluminum would sound compared to my other slides. But, I could not justify the price considering I don't use a slide all that often. Then I got a coupon from Custom Guitar's Friend which made the purchase worth trying. The sound you will get from this is not as "dark" as brass. I would actually compare it more to the sound of a glass slide. But it also has characteristics of other metal slides. I like the sound I get from this slide. The one BIG drawback for me is that it only comes in one size which is not great if you have fat fingers or big knuckles. I knew that it would probably be too small for my ring finger but decided to buy it none the less. It fits my pinky but I have little control of my pinky. I "can" use it on my ring finger but it won't go past the second knuckle. It's a nice slide and I like it but if you play slide a lot and have larger fingers then be aware that it is in the small side.

.I was a little skeptical buying this with no reviews but it turned out to be a great goto slde. The super smooth surface slides like glass but gives a slightly sharper tone than glass. Super light weight for higher speed playing. Definitely picking up another one.
