I've only had the stand for a little while, but noticed right away that it takes two to put it together because it's pretty squirmmy. Having said that, once together it does hold the PA system up at a height you can opperate from. I'm an old guy and sit on a bar stool throughout my gig so I can't be bending down to the floor to operate the board. The main reason I bought it was because it can be taken apart and placed inside the system case along with the speaker stands etc. to make it one compact system to wheel into the gig. DO NOT TRY TO PICK UP THE MIXER AND STAND TO MOVE IT BY YOURSELF. It will come apart on you . Slide it to a new close location or get help moving it.Can be packed in the system case for easy portability.
Expensive for such little material.... but then it has to fit the case.

.I had hoped for much more given the price. Already have issues with the straps tearing away from their fasteners and loss of an end cap on one leg. I have used the item twice and am very careful with it.

.I bought this stand because it comes apart and fits in the sound system case. I want to be able to grab one case and go with it. It works well in that capacity. The stand is a bit flimsy when you are trying to put it up and is difficult to move after assembled. I plan to drill holes where the legs slide into the stand and use cotter pins to hold the legs in to overcome this problem. Over all the stand is good quality, but can be even better with small improvements.

.We got this stand as part of a promotional from Muscian's Friend. While it holds the Peavy Escort,the stand is flimsey, the tubes that are used to exend the legs fall out while you are trying to insert the other legs (a twist lock or some friction fitting would cure this. X bracing could use support or additional friction as it flops around as you are assembing it. I would advise anyone not to move the stand once the Escort is on it as it could twist and tip the unit. The worst part is we are unable to get the stand in the Peavy Escort's storage area which means it has to be carried separately in a bag or the box it was shipped in. Maybe a built in stand could be built into the Escort. This stand is pretty flimsey and poorly suited to the versatility and portability of the Escort.
