This amp is so lound for just 30 watts. Set the voumle on 6 which is half way an hit the boost button on it an hang on. You get the tones of the 60s or any year with this amp. Play with the knobs an see what you get. My PRS LP an Fender sounds good on it. Best of all MADE IN THE U.S.APeavey Classic 30 112 30W 1x12 Tube Combo Amp Tweed
.With this amp, Hartley Peavey has been true to his commitment to give the musician quality gear at a reasonable price. These amps are excellent and at least half the price of what other amp companies would charge. Easily loud enough to gig with. Very well built and Made in the USA. Excellent tone in all departments.

.Great amp for the money! Peavey gives you an all American-Made tube amp with 4 EL-84's and some great reverb. I particularly liked how the cross-beam on back was thick & sturdy. My only complaint was that I had to return it due to the reverb tank being unscrewed from the base of the amp. It actually was stuck on the back of the speaker magnet. I've heard about this being an issue from others before as well, so please be aware. I could have just screwed it in, but I decided to return it and might email Peavey. Still, it's a nice amp regardless.

.I owned this amp for 2 years and could never get the tone I was looking for, even with a tube and speaker swap. Clean channel sounds ok but I play mostly rock and the overdrive on this amp is very harsh with the gain turned up. It also has a nasty midrange honk that I didn't care for. A lot of people love this amp, but not me.

.This is my go to amp. I have the peavey butcher and a budda superdrive 18 but I always find my self playing my classic 30 its small portable sounds awesome its the perfect lil amp for takeing to jam sessions' practice' studio use' and home use. I can get every sound from country'classic'blues'and 80's rock the only thing it won't do is metal but hey its called the classic 30 for a reason classic tones. Buy one you won't regret it.

.This amp is a great value. I am very impressed with the entire Peavey Classic Line. I now own three Peavey amps. I used to own several Fender amps, but the newer Fenders do not compare with these Classic Peaveys. The Fenders sound ice-pick trebley. The Peaveys are very versatile. Rock, Blues, Jazz. This is not a Metal Amp, or a Worship amp--whatever that is.
Peavey Classic 30 112 30W 1x12 Tube Combo Amp Tweed
.The Classic 30 sounds great at any volume but I can't think of another amp in this price range that has such sweet distortion even at bedroom levels. You can get the bright, brittle sounds the guy in the video gets, but the Classic 30 is capable of much warmer, fuller tone than that. Certainly as good sounding and more versatile than a Fender amp at this price. Had mine for years and still love it.
Peavey Classic 30 112 30W 1x12 Tube Combo Amp Tweed
.This amp is small and compact enough to carry without breaking your back. Cab is smaller than many other 1 12" spkr. amps. I use this primarily for bedroom practice, but I feel confident that I could take it out to open mic or small venues and it could stand on it's own. I don't play in a band, so I don't know how it would do competing with other instruments. I have it set on the carpeted floor and the bass frequency is amazing. I play a LP standard so, even after cutting the bass down to 4, it's still plenty bassy, but not unpleasingly so to me. I appreciate the brightness of it. I've gone thru two Hot Rod Deluxes (with issues), a 65 Deluxe Reverb (just didn't like), a Budda V20 head w/ two 2 12 cabs, an old '97 Line 6 ax 212, an AC 15 and still couldn't get a fundamental rock sound that had the kind of cleanness and openness I wanted to hear. Either too shrill, too muddy, the cabinets had a nasty pinging resonance, snap, crackle, pop, or a gain channel completely went out all together (deluxe).. so many issues. So much money, so little happiness. This is the first amp in a very long time that HAS IT. It's quiet. No annoying crackling or popping, etc.. Controls are easy to use, however I very much dislike having to squint to read WHITE PRINT on a MIRROR background. Not smart ..for any amp maker. Glad to see the special edition fixed that issue, but I really do like my tweed!.. so I'm just going to have to quint. LOL (Small price to pay). Price is reasonable for anything of this quality "made in the USA". Glad to pony up for it. :) Admittedly, I'm not playing metal or using the distortion at all. I wanted rock clean sounds that could even sound good playing "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring", as mostly a finger style player. Great amp! I might consider the 50 later, but I won't get rid of this one even if I do. It's fun, light, a little monster that can hold it's own.. great classic looks. Handle is sturdy, as well. So far, so good. Buy it. :)

Peavey Classic 30 112 30W 1x12 Tube Combo Amp Tweed
.This amp is loud and sounds original. Anywhere from jazz to metal this amp can do it. It took a short time to work in the blue marvel. I'm keeping this amp stock. I see no use in doing any mod because it sounds so good.
