I have owned this amp for 3 years now. One of the wheels has fallen off and the bottom of the amp is all torn up because there is not enough space between the ground and the amp. I use my own dolly for this reason. The built in dolly was badly designed. This amp is very powerful if you need it to be. Although it has 2 woofers for stereo sound, it really doesn't sound that different from a mono amplifier. This thing is huge. My 2 biggest complaints are the bad built in dolly, and the weight. Lugging this up and down stairs even with my own dolly is horrible. However this amp has served me well. Despite losing one of the wheels, the amp itself still performs admirably. The 3 channel eq is great and helps me to get the sound I want compared to some other two channel eq amps (*cough* Roland *cough*) If you need a big sound but don't want to pay for an Acoustic Image, this is your guy.
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.Bought it used, and am very pleased with it.This rig is LOUD and Clear...Have used as a bass amp stand alone with noextension, and it kept up with 'stacks' the guitarists were using...Add and extension, and its even more powerful..My mini monster is this Peavey KB5 paired with the Fender Rumble 410...couldnt be more pleased.
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.never bought a used piece of equipment before, so i was skeptical. It arrived better than advertised in terms of condition. Very happy with my purchase and this company!
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.compared to my KB A/300 the KB5 can't even get in the ball park with performance on stage in big concerts. The KB5 is very clear, but it clips easily and has no bottom to create the maximum sound delivered by the Yamaha motif xf8 and korg triton workstation pro. I just wasn't satisfied at all with the KB5. And when I called and e-mailed customer support for some help. I received no help.
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.We use this for small venues at church, works great!
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.We bought this for the church and it is used weekly as well as special events. It is very portable and flexible for a variety of situations such as for our bass player, outdoor movie sound system, outdoor PA and as a three man band amp / mix. It does what we bought it for very well.
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
.I find it to be a no frills amplifier and has good power. It does not come with any FX but does have the ability to send and receive a signal from an outside source or device. It is very heavy but easy to get around due to the wheels and retractable handle built in to the amp. It is simple to use and very versatile for many different instruments.
Peavey KB 5 150W 2x10 4-Channel Keyboard Amp
