Great unit. Built well but I had to take off the back and adjust the pedals to make them usable. Easy info on the mod on YouTube. Perfect for my practicing and live...

.I bought this for a Peavey Vypyr 30, and the pedal is 3 inches wider than the amp itself >.< This doesn't make it hard to use, just awkward on stage/at home because the pedal is so. blinkin. huge.

The sound banks are awesome though, and the pedal is pretty intuitive to use. There's only one weird thing that has happened to me while goofing off with it. Randomly, the whole amp just stopped producing sound, and the lights went really whack. I turned it on and off and that fixed it. Hopefully it won't become a problem.

.This is a tough, road worthy unit. Quality made no doubt this could take a beating. If you have the Vypyr amps and you play live and you need to switch sounds frequently then you absolutely need this product. It does have a built in tuner which is nice but I wish it was a bit better. It is very string pressure sensative but it still gets the job done. The manual is not really imformative as it could have been but once you play around with saving programs it becomes easy and totally needed. The looper is incredible and such a nice feature, you will get lost in this, the wah wah pedal is outstanding and simply put, if you own any Vypyr this is really an exstention of the amp and again, totally needed.

.I have not really had time to work with this unit enough to make a clear estimation of its abilities or my personal satisfaction. I was surprised at its size, but not disappointed.

.If you on the Vypyr amps from Peavey then this is a must have. The construction on this is totally road worthy and tough as it is all metal construction. The foot switches are high end from what I can tell and this is realy needed for quick switching or programs and or pre sets as well as the looper feature. The looper is outstanding and gives you 30 seconds of any sound on the Vypyr. What is really neat is then you can swap out sounds to go over what you just looped. The 2 expression pedals are really cool as well. I actually took my wah pedal out of the mix once I heard had fantastic this wah sounds and works. The wah pedal can also work as a pitch shifter but have not done much with that. The other expression pedal is a volume pedal and also kicks in the on board tuner. The tuner is good and helpful but not my favorite part of the pedal board as it seems really sensative and just the right amount of string pressure needed to get a good read. The manual is a little lacking of information but with playing around with it you get to figure it out.
Overall this purchase was a needed one and glad I did it. Yes it may seem a bit pricey but I feel this was built to last and the midi cable powers this board and no need for an additional plug. Bottom line if you own the Vypyr this is a must have.

.A dedicated foot pedal shouldn't cost more than the amp. Other than that, it's GREAT! Incredible versatility, excellent sound (from the VYPYR, not eh SANSERA, duh...) . All in all, a neat, comfortable package, and you don't look like a spaz while dancing all around a typical pedal board.

ROCK ON , HARTLEY P!

.i am very happy with this purchase because it allows me to get the most out of my vypyr 60 watt tube amp. because the vypyr has the ability to essentially create tons of different stomp boxes, you can create your own stomp box, save that baby, and put it to different banks and use it for everything ranging from live performance to home studio to just simple practicing (which is what i use it for the most). if you don't mind simply PRESSING the different presents/banks on the vypyr (and having a limited number of sounds to choose from), then you really don't need this product. if you are the person that likes to have a lot of effects/colors on hand, then i would definitely recommend this!

there are two things that i will warn about buying this product though, when i bought this, i thought i was going to be able to have more than one looping track, but unfortunately, the vypyr only has the capacity to do one loop at a time (unless i'm just doing something wrong), which is a little bit of a bummer. so again, i repeat, this product is not an EFFECT station, it is for all intents and purposes a STOMPBOX station. another thing that i would like to see changed is that the wah pedal (for me i use wah on the right pedal) turns off when it's pressed all the way to the control hub. this kind of sucks when you want to make sure you are getting the most range out of your wah and you press down completely (touching the control hub) only to turn off the wah.

i've only had it for about two months, but my tinkering has led me to conclude that all in all this is a very great product to create hundreds of custom made boxes at your disposal. this was a sound investment to my creative future and if you love tons of easily accessible color in your life, i would HIGHLY recommend this!
