I bought this pair last year to install into my SG... but since then, I've bought a telecaster and will probably never play my SG again lol. These are still brand new because I didn't even open them. If you can't read the details on the back of the little boxes in the picture, I've typed it out below:
This is the humbucker that expands the Alnico Pro II Series. Their softer magnetic field allows a freer, more natural string vibration for greater sustain. The tone is both warm and smooth.
The APH-1b (bridge) has an even response with extra added punch and is specially calibrated for the bridge position.
The APH-1n (neck) is designed so that its volume is balanced with the bridge model and so its tone has just the right amount of bass.
Both models use 4-conductor wiring and are direct replacements that require no guitar modification. Wiring schematics and mounting hardware included.
And in even smaller print, it says:
The bridge position version of this pickup is designed for bridges with traditional humbucker string spacing of 1.925"/48.9 mm measured center of high string to low string over the bridge.
