Shure Foam Padded Microphone Carrying Case

Here we have a Shure Foam Padded Microphone carrying case. This particular case is originally from a DMK57-52 drum mic kit, and it is designed to hold 3 SM57s, a Beta 52A kick drum mic, and 3 A56D drum mounts. It features a thick semi rigid cloth exterior, and foam padded interior. These are really tough, well made cases as one would expect with any Shure product, and they work great for protecting mics when you're out and about.

This particular one is in Mint, like new condition, with essentially no signs of use, and the zipper is working great. These things are pretty tough, so you should be able to get many years of good use out of this bad boy!

Although designed to hold the items mentioned above, in truth these great little cases could be used to carry all kinds of stuff either as is or with some easy modification on your part. The thick foam used to protect the items on the inside can easily be cut to accommodate SM58s for a singer, leaving plenty of room for more mics and a mic cable or 3.

You could use it to carry tons of cords, guitar strings, extra picks, a change of underwear, a harmonica, a capo, that one really weird audio cable adapter that you'll only actually need that one time you forget to bring it (just leave it in the case), spare batteries, a slide, like 20 or 25 kazoos, demo CDs, guitar straps, or even a beer for after the gig! All kinds of awesome stuff can fit in this case.

You can even remove all (or half) of the foam if you just want a plain case to chuck whatever into. The sky is the limit with one of these bad boys and a little imagination!!!

P.S. We're not kidding about the beer... We checked. A 12oz can fits perfectly in the Beta 52A spot as it comes from the factory. It makes sense… The kit was made for drummers originally ;)
