This A56D is in Mint condition with essentially no signs of use, and includes both of the jam nuts that help with getting exact microphone placement. Any standard microphone can be used with this hardware as well, not just Shure mics. These guys are pretty pricey new ($39.99 from GC or Musicians Friend), but very useful, and a great buy pre-owned like this. As with all Shure products they're tough as nails and designed for a lifetime of use. Their all metal construction makes them pretty much indestructible.

This heavy duty, all metal microphone mounting hardware opens up a whole range of possibilities for miking up drums or other instruments. It features a flippable piece that can either mount snugly on drum rims, or when flipped the other way is designed to be optimized for mounting on round objects such as drum racks or mic stands.

Although principally designed for drums, there are many interesting ways they can be utilized in the real world. You could use it to mount a 2nd mic on one stand at the top for sending to different outputs (such as a PA and a recording device), mount one on the bottom of a stand to catch a kick drum while using the regular mic at the top for overheads, or any number of other possibilities.
