This is a gain cell . If you have long chords this gives you less treble loss and signal loss. You put a guitar chord in one end and another one in the other end to your amp. It uses no battery's . It is self powered. There is nothing to change. People that own these do not sell them.  These are rare. I have never seen one for sale.
