.Well after being very disappointed with a Boss ^65 Twin Reverb pedal...with the sound and customer service I went for this EHX Holy Grail Max..I have a little 67 Vibro Champ and a couple of Epiphone BC 30 amps...this pedal is really deep and versatile..plate is really intense and reverse is cool.seekms to inhale the sound at the end..the blend knob is the big plus...a little or a lot of clean melody..I like this a Lot

.This a great pedal. I was using a digitech hardwire reverb before this. I like this one much better. The reverse setting is actually usable unlike the hardwire. Also this pedal has a blend knob which is great for 100% wet settings to dial in some post rock sounds. Plate setting is just as good or better than other pedals I have used. The blend & time knobs work very well & give a wide range of reverbs to dial in. Every setting on this pedal is usable. Its a keeper

.The plate reverb effect on the HG Max is one of the best I've heard after comparing Youtube demos to like pedals in this price range. The addition of the reverse effect is actually usable when you take the time to adjust the mix/effect levels. All said, this is a pro quality reverb from EHX at a affordable price.
