I'm a music teacher and I love this guitar! It's my first PRS, but I've played on colleagues' or students' PRS guitars many time in the past. It feels as good or better than anything I played on in the past. I've played on a Gibson SG for years, and this is SO MUCH better. I've wanted a PRS for a long time, I've wanted a semi-hollow for a long time, and I'm a big fan of unique designs and color schemes. So when I found this baby, I was all over it. When it came up and played amazing out of the box, I really understood the amount of care PRS puts into their products. GOOD STUFF!

I have owned a Fender Tele and really liked it, but the tone, good looks, and playability of this PRS has won me over. This might be the last electric I buy.

.Where to start? Great tone, both in humbucking and single-coil mode. Full rich tone, plenty of sustain. The workmanship is outstanding. Great neck and fret work. Light weight. Locking tuners. This is simply a great guitar at a great price. I own several guitars of different brands and types, some quite a lot more expensive and this is truly the best of them all.

.First off, this is the most expensive guitar I've owned, so I don't have anything in the price bracket to compare it to. I upgraded from a PRS SE Santana, and the difference is night and day. The guitar has a very clear, articulate tone that cuts through nicely without being shrill. With a tube amp (Tweaker 112 combo / Bugera v22 212) set on the verge of distortion, the split coils are incredibly touch sensitive. Country sounds from the bridge, warm rock from the middle, and some tasty Hendrix tones from the neck. Engage full humbuckers and the neck does a convincing jazz sound, the middle has throaty overdrive and the bridge produces a rich, raspy snarl. It does equally well with increased gain, and cleans up musically with volume knob and pick attack adjustments. This instrument is super resonant and produces harmonics (pinched, plucked or tapped) beautifully in all pickup configurations. I'm still getting used to the location of the 3-way blade switch, but with practice I trust I'll be able to change positions without missing a beat. Overall, a versatile instrument that produces a great amount of usable tones without needing to touch the amp.
