When I buy anything musical, I look at appearance/design, functionality, durability and price. Dunlop came up a winner on all counts with this product and I would recommend it to anyone.The first Dunlop Curved Guitar Capo I purchased was done so on a trial basis. I was wondering if it was on the flimsy side, whether the spring joint would provide enough pressure on the strings, and was it padded in all the right places. Well, once it arrived I immediately put the capo into the test mode. The device passed all tests with flying colors. I started with one of these capos and now own three. That statement alone should tell you something. Folks, using a capo doesn't get any easier than this.
This capo is first rate - nothing cheap about it.
No doubt about the fact there are cheaper capos out there, and this device seems to be a little on the pricey side to me. However, once I find a product that works well and seems to have quality built in, I'm going to spend the extra bucks to get what I want.

.I have Schubb capos, G7 capos and now this capo.
The G7 is great on electrics, but the rubber doesn't stand up to acoustics.
The schubb is extremely accurate and can be applied without making the guitar go out of tune. However it's slower to apply.
For live shows or playing with friends, where faster capo changes are needed, this Dunlop capo is GREAT! Sure it can bend the strings out a little more because it's just one spring tension, but it's lightning fast and can be stored on the headstock.
It seems really well made and does what it's supposed to. I like it!

.I use these capos across the gamut of guitars, from electrics like teles, strats and archtops to acoustics like folk, western and classical. My sister tried one of mine on her Ukelele and then I had to go buy another capo! Quick setup and one handed operation make using these a breeze, and I park it on the headstock when not in use. Love It!

.I once had a Kyser, so pretty and black. But one day I squeezed it, and heard a large *SNAP*. The spring had broken; I was left with two halves. The capo was useless, and thrown into the trash. In need of replacement (And quick! I must say), I searched for a new one, and turned Dunlop's way. I read the reviews and decided to buy. With a click of the mouse, I let out a sigh. Three days later, I received a small package. Without hesitation, I broke open its wrappage. The capo popped out, and I let out a bellow, for this little device had from hello. On my guitar, was where it really shined. Every note, every chord, was clearly defined. And no problems since! I am I happy to say. 2 years and counting, of continuous play. Its a capo, plain and simple. It does what its supposed to do, and it does it well.
I've owned several and never had problems with any of them. The only reason I have ever had to buy more is that I tend to lose them at shows.
Good price on a great capo. I have many other more expensive capos, and the only real difference for me is the size.
