First thing I noticed about this pedal is that the build quality was very solid and it was actually heavy for such a small pedal. Seems like it will hold up to some beating and stomping, the only thing I didn't like was the lack of a polarity switch but I believe you just hold down the pedal while you plug the cable in to invert polarity.

.Barebones, but it gets the job done as a sustain footswitch and is inexpensive and sturdy. As stated in an other review you can change the polarity by holding down the switch before you power on.

.I use this with an Alesis SR16. I am the lone musician for contemporary Christian music in a small church. This allows me to control the drum machine to add depth to my guitar

.Do not buy this for a Casio or any other standard keyboard that wants a closed circuit for sustain. Contrary to the suggestions to hold it down while powering it on, Casio doesn't observe that convention for reversing polarity. To modify this pedal, you will need to physical modify the pedal circuit.

.Overall, this pedal works very good. This is actually the pedal that came with my keyboard, and so far it holds up pretty good. The only problem I have with it is that it slides a lot, which is bad when your performing and need to use the pedal. Other than that it is a well working cheap pedal that gets the job done.

.This is the exact footswitch I needed for the application.a solid "punch in -punch out" operation, with the AW 16G..it functions smootly and quietly...5 stars all the way.
I've tried other non-latching foot switches, but beats them all. For build, and reliability, should've bought this one first. I use it as a "punch in -out" switch on a AW 16-G..works great. Highly recommend.

.Fc 4 & Fc 5, these are momentary switches.... there is no polarity at issue here. period. read the owners manual. try to buy a casio if that is what you have! the reversal is in the keyboard itself. Where the on/off switch is!!! .... is synonymous with quality. All the pedals are cheap, If I were to break one, (I haven't) I'd go buy another.

.Just got mine and it works great for my Zoom MRT-3 drum machine as a start/stop pedal. (the actual pedal my drum machine uses sells for double the cost of this model) Low score on the features as there is not much more to it than what you see, that said, the quality is very good. Metal casing, rubber pad to keep it from slipping. I plan on using it for my "one man band" live gigs.

.This pedal is working nicely now, but be warned, if your keyboard or whatever you are using doesn't work in a reverse polarity mode, it may work opposite, where it sustains when the pedal is not pressed down, and when it is pressed down, it will stop. Inside the pedal I noticed that the two ends are always touching, and they are separated when the pedal is pressed. I had to switch these ends around so that the ends would touch when the pedal was pressed down. I have a Casio WK-3000 and I'm guessing many other models will have this same problem.

.Inexpensive but works well.
