Features like hand-lapped tuning slides and hand-lapped rotary valves ensure a perfect, airtight fit. The string linkage of the valves allows for easy adjustments and a unique slide lock keeps the slide in place and prevents it from falling. The inner slide is chrome-plated nickel silver making it both durable and reliable. The drawn yellow brass one-piece outer slide has a consistent diameter throughout its length adding resonance to the instrument while remaining airtight. Tubular braces composed of durable nickel silver stabilize the slide while promoting smooth action. The laser-fused bell is virtually seamless resulting in even vibrations. A continuous taper bell section produces even resonance throughout all registers. The mouthpiece features a special acoustic design that allows greater blowing control and precise intonation.
