I have some vintage drums, and they tend to come with mystery stains or fillers from previous owners. I could not get off some filler substance using normal methods, and I didn't want to damage lacquer with harsher chemicals. This lacquer polish will obviously not damage the lacquer, so it was worth a shot. Using a cotton polishing cloth, it removed all the issues I had without damage. HAPPY!Yamaha Lacquer Polish
