This was my first experience with slide grease, and the product itself is excellent - high enough viscousity to hold tuned slides in position.But the "Chap Stick" packing is weak, and the plastic screw mechanism that pushes the grease up for application stripped out immediately. I used a tiny spatula to dig out the grease.
I'm hopeful that this was an outlier, and I ordered five more to have on hand because the grease itself is a great product.
