I ordered the Allen Vizzutti replica to replace my current Harry James Parduba #5. Though I enjoy the Parduba's big, rich sound & upper range ease, I've found that it sacrifices quality low range sound under C.Thus far, I find the Vizzutti features big, rich sound in all ranges, including low range under C. It's fabulous for pedal tone work, which I found impossible with the Parduba.
In my humble opinion, the Vizzutti is a far-better all-around mouthpiece than the Parduba & I would highly recommend it to HS & College students as an alternative to the traditional Bach 3c & 7c.
