I purchased this mouthpiece to replace the poor quality mouthpiece that came with my son's Etude EAS-100 Student Alto Saxophone with Accessory Pack.This mouthpiece made a huge difference in his sound quality and in the ease of his playing. His fellow band members even commented on how much better he sounds, what better recommendation is there?

.Bought this for my Freshmen HS son in marching band and concert band. I (we) heard that upgrading the mouthpiece can help improve sound quality and ease of play - well, we made the right choice. It's true a new (better quality) mouthpiece does improve both; and this one proved it to my son. I (the father) can also hear the difference. Our recommendation is for beginner and student players research what you can and if in doubt and your budget will allow, purchase this mouth piece - you'll notice an improvement as well.
