Product Features

Like other members of the Club Concert series, the CM10V 10" 2-Way Club Concert Series Monitor features refinements aimed at permanent installations. With an elastomeric spray coating that easily fits any decor, is very tough, and readily paintable to match surroundings. The steel grilles are foam-lined with acoustically transparent material to provide a more subdued appearance.

Assembled by hand by skilled technicians, each cabinet is designed for better low-end response and includes heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets to make moving and positioning easy. The custom drivers from Eminence feature high-strength curvilinear cones and Kapton voice coil formers, plus oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets to provide high power handling and long life. 15" and 18" drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex, and dissipate heat.

The titanium diaphragm compression driver is mated to a 90 degree x 40 degree custom-designed horn. Internal electronics feature an over-built crossover network and overload protection. Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" jacks. With professional features, excellent sonic performance, and great value, Club Concert Series loudspeakers deliver premium quality night after night.

The CM10V 2-way monitor features a 10" woofer, 1" phenolic tweeter, 70Hz-20kHz frequency response, 150/500W power handling (program and peak) and 96dB sensitivity. 22"W x 14"H x 11"D. 27 lbs.

Hello there,
I'm the "soundman" and bass guitarist at my church and have been serving in this role since 1995.
These new CM10V vocal monitors replace two "custom-made" monitors by Eagle Works of Portland, OR in 1996 where the backs on some old walnut-veneered Altec-Lansing stereo speakers were cut off at a 30-degree angle, adding strap handles and rubber feet. The guts were 10-inch Peavey Scorpion 8-ohm woofers and Motorola piezo tweeters. When the backline (bass and drums) needed to hear the frontline singers better, we added a third 8-ohm vocal monitor. However our Soundcraft Gigrac powered mixer was rated 300-watts at 4-ohms, so I replaced the Scorpion 8-ohm woofers in the two custom-made wedges with 16-ohm Eminence Delta 10B's so that we wouldn't blowup the Gigrac when we ran three vocal monitor speakers.

To everyone's surprise these two new CM10V vocal monitors are all that we need - everyone can hear the vocals, the backline and even the choir seated in the pews offside! And the sound quality is great!
For my home-based sound reinforcement gigs: for passive foldback monitoring I currently use one (all I really need for the smaller "stages" that I setup sound for) SM12V and in the past have used a pair of SM12IV's (sold to a friend setting up a garage band).

Thanks for reading!

.I bought a pair for use as floor monitors and they were amazingly loud. I decided to try them out as small mains for small venues and they performed like 18"s at a large venue. Small and compact and yet easy to handle. Buy it!!
