We bought a P-105 88-Key Digital Piano complete set in May. The customer service (supposedly product expert) help selected The Keyboard Stand, The Keyboard Bench and the Pedal Unit. Except when I tried to install the Pedal Unit in July I found that it was the wrong Petal Unit and it would fit The Keyboard Stand. Because we are now beyond the 45 days return/ refund policy date, they refused to process the exchange for the correct Petal Unit. They advised me to contact directly. To compound the insult to injury, they admit it was their fault and apologized but cannot override the 45 days return/ refund policy. I recommend the company to fix the sale software program (alert for potential items do not match when assembled in a single order transaction) to avoid inconveniencing customers going forward.

.The pedals work fine, though the action is a little stiff. Ordered this unit with the DGX650. In the picture of the DGX650 it shows the optional "LP7A" Looking on musician's friend (at the time) there was no LP7A listed; only the LP7. I ordered the LP7 thinking "what's the difference." Oddly, the box that arrived said "LP7A" on it, so I guess there is no difference. But though states that the LP7A will fit the DGX650, it does not. The wood plank that goes from one end of the stand to the other is not long enough.

The pedals still plug into the DGX650 and work as pedals, and the pedals will basically stand up on it's own, but I'm going to have to cobble something together to keep that wood plank in place.

. delivers again! Pedal board was easily assembled to the keyboard and worked like a charm! I highly recommend it.
Yamaha LP-7 Pedal Unit
.I didn't like the funky connector which meant only brand pedals could be used with this Digital piano. Pedals the selfs are just a bit high from floor. When I connected only these pedals piano has a locked sustain, only when I also connected supplied sustain pedal did the locked sustain stop and all four pedals then work as they should. This doesn't seem right, giving users two sustain pedals?

.When purchased I was not aware the pedals would be plastic. Everything feels solid but wish the pedals would have been medal to give more of a piano look and feel.
Yamaha LP-7 Pedal Unit
.If you buy the DGX 660 you need this, they go together. So much better than the little pedals that slide around.
Yamaha LP-7 Pedal Unit
.Perfect fit for the DGX-650 Piano! Installed easily.
Yamaha LP-7 Pedal Unit
.This pedal unit is a nice upgrade over the one that comes standard. It adds class to the instrument.

.Son's piano teacher advised that his progress was such that he needed to have the three pedal unit instead of the single pedal we got with the piano. We have been very happy with the piano so we bought the unit without shopping for anything else. Installation was easy, everything fit properly and well engineered so nothing could be installed backwards. Twenty minutes from cutting the tape on the box to test, including time to fetch the only tool (screwdriver) required. Wife likes them, says they feel like a real piano. Son says they work good, stiffer than the previous electronic single pedal, but agrees that they are similar to his teacher's upright.
