been playing for over thirty years....wanted a strat copy style with humbucker bridge for wide range of tone options....leaves the others in its category behind! tuners could be better but overall when you factor in price its a great quality instrument worthy of much more money! skip the squires, this ones a winner!

.Ok guys you will think I am crazy but here is my story. I own few pacificas and Gibson and PSR and Custom Strats. Last two years I am using Pacifica 012 as my primary guitar. I picked it from my friend and I liked it so much and can't stop playing it. I will show up in studio with it and producent will laugh till he hear the sound this guitar have. If you don't trust me just go in music store and try this guitar. Also it stays in tune forever and you can mess with tremolo and everything. So begginer or pro just try this guitar and you will see I am not lying.

.The original Pacifica's from '91 - '92 had an aluminum core in the neck joint. I remember how turned on I was when I first heard my Pacifica through a Super Reverb using a Boss OD. Such warmth, rich sustain. The body resonated in a way that you felt connected, and it made you want to play better, because of that tone. This guitar and all the rest of them pale in comparison, but they do play and sound well, despite this major modification. If you can find one of those earlier models, don't hesitate for a moment to buy it. You'll be glad you did.

.This was my first guitar, and it has been a great choice. I wasn't sure if I was going to continue playing, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. Seven years later, I'm still going strong. I have acquired a few nicer guitars, but my old Pac012 is my knock-around guitar and stays in the living room, where it is always within reach. It gets played every day. It stays in tune and has a nice feel. For an inexpensive guitar, it does a great job.

.Its an OK guitar. There's not really anything wrong with it, but even a beginner will find themselves wanting something better. Its neck is my main complaint, it is very narrow, and leaves my fingers very cramped on open chords. The action is also not very good, its fairly high, and even with .10's I can't lower it to a comfortable level. Fortunately, it sounds pretty good and the finish look fantastic, but that doesn't make up or the fact that this is the most uncomfortable strat I've ever played. All in all, a decent beginner guitar but a few more dollars will yield a far better guitar.

.This is the first brand of electiric guitars I have owned;I am still using it! My main guitar for recording and live performance is the same brand but souped up a little bit. I have another one just like this though. Prefect for the begginer, and good for the pros! The price is cheap for what you get!I can get any sound I need from this guitar. It works well with Plus E-bow. Good rockin!

.I have owned a Gibson SG and an Ibanez or two in the last 22 years. I liked the simplicity of a stop bar tailpiece, the growl of two well placed and crafted humbuckers. I have played strats here and there, but they just weren't for me. I picked this guitar up today and I never knew what I was missing out on. As for the guitar, I can't tell much difference in the sound of this as opposed to the top strat-style manufacturers out there. It has a fast action and the neck just feels nice. I am getting back into guitar after a very long hiatus and none too seriously, so I went cheap. I am glad I did. After all these years I finally realize my first music teacher was right: If you know how to play, you can make any instrument sound good. I would say pair this up with a decent sounding amp and you will not be disappointed.

.I bought this guitar as a few years ago. I've since moved on, but this was a great guitar to start with. Nice action, decent tone for blues or rock, and it stays in tune forever. The 3 1/2 stars for quality and features are intended as a negative, just an honest rating for an entry level guitar. It looks decent too.

.This guitar is good and sells for a low price, although I would like it to have an extra tone dial like a Fender Stratocaster. If you are just starting out as a musician and don't want to spend much money, this guitar is for you. If you want a guitar with more versatility and features, then you might want to consider a different brand or model.
