Plenty of power for a two person acoustic act, everything sounds crisp and clear, Running it thru a pair of PR12's and lovin it!
I was looking for a lightweight, full-featured powered mixing board, and think I've found it. Having been used to using a simpler box mixer, I had a friend with sound production experience help me set it up and explain a few things, but I'm really liking the sound I'm getting from it. I am in a two-person acoustic act, using a pair of PR12 speakers, and I'm very happy with our new sound!
All the knobs and buttons seem to be functioning properly! It's lightweight, tho doesn;t seem flimsy. I've purchased equipment in the past, this seems to be a quality piece.
It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but seemed to be just about exactly what I was looking for. No regrets.

.If you want / need an 'all-in-one' mixer/effects/amp this is a good choice. Don't get carried away with some of the marketing 'hype' however.
For a board of this size & cost features are quite good. Pre-amps are good quality, low noise, good headroom. EQ is nice (and yes limited on some channels) with small but useable parametric. Has reasonable I/O (inserts, effects loop, etc). Busses are limited (2 aux), but again plenty reasonable given the cost. Compression feature works better than I expected. Effects are just OK, some I'd call unuseable. Power is underwhelming, @ 8 ohms you get about 70Wrms - that's it - not its strong suit. Weight is surprising given its 'powered'.
Used for practice and gigs for 3 years, certainly not 'babied' (it was dropped face down into fresh snow one time prior to a gig), never an issue. Connectors have held up fine. Have had good success with all equipment I've owned.
For the price you get a good mix of features, however none of them I'd call stand-outs. To be expected when with so much 'stuff' in one piece of gear (pres, effects, EQs, amp, etc). A good all-around board with enough flexibility for most 4-5 piece bands, but plan on real amp(s) if your playin anything but the smallest venues (we use its amp for small stand mounted 'personal monitors' - fine for that).

.I bought this mixer about 2 years ago, and it worked fine until recently. The L/R and Aux1 mono options have stopped working. So no sound when I use the L/R which is the easiest option to use, and only get sound from 1 side when I use the Aux1 mono option. In short, this unit is not as sturdy as previous mixers I've owned. Given the price tag I'd reconsider after having had issues with this. I haven't really abused this unit for it not to perform at this early stage - have maybe 50 gigs with it. I would not buy this again.

Yamaha EMX5014C 14-Input Stereo Powered Mixer
.Good power, noisy at higher output. Easy to carry, lightweight. I wish all the channels had a Mid-Sweep instead of only channels 1-6. Plenty of power, nice features, could use more effects.Overall, this is a good unit for your usual gigs. I haven't tried recording through it. I will post another time as per the "noise" at higher volumes...

.I had doubts, but I would never go back to separate mixer board and amplifier again.
Yamaha EMX5014C 14-Input Stereo Powered Mixer
.Im not too familiar with mixers. One thing I noticed is that when I am trying to send and AUX signal to monitor speakers on stage I get no reverb from the built in effects. I wonder why? I do not know if there is something wrong with this unit or this is just normal for this model.
