I love the qaulity of this Bass, it has good balanceor eveness of sound across and up and down the fret board. My two favorits basses are my Gibson RD77 and my Ibanez SR506. I adjusted the action on this bass to fit my style of play. After my adjustments this bass will fit right into the sound palete that I like.

.Love this bass! Practically ready to play out of the box. A simple truss rod adjustment and it was ready to go. Solid electronics with excellent tone and feel. The string spacing is a little wider than other 5 string models I've tried, making it perfect for fingerstyle techniques.

.I bought this bass last summer and this is really a great bass guitar to own. I'm a metal player and I would say that this bass is great for metal music. my first bass happens to be a yamaha and now I got this bass. I bought this bass because it has a mahogany(which I'm a fan of). it has a nice beefy sound and the electronics are pretty solid. the treble boost isn't that excessive, but it has a good amount of treble. to give you a punchy sound. I fine the 5-way tone switch to be pretty unique because it has a certain mode for all types of players. rather if you play bass with your fingers or play bass with a pick, there's a tone mode for every player. it also sounds awesome with effects. I should also mention that this bass has a smooth low action for comfortable playing. If you play metal and want something a little different, definitely check out this bass.
