These are great sounding monitors. Very clean high quality construction. We were using Mackie and EV and these are much better suited for floor monitoring. We use 4 for a 5 pc vocal band. These can be hooked up in parallel. Run a speakon into one speaker from the power amp and connect from the 1/4 jack output to the other speakers 1/4 jack output plug with 1/4" plug speaker cable.

.I just bought these being an active sound guy and needed new mons...I've worked with people who bring on stack amps and everything...we've run just about everything imaginable through these and they absolutely put up with it never a problem I've worked with BR12m's as well and I'd pick these over them...I took out the 1/4" connector and replaced it with another speakon and that added to the quality definitely worth every penny

. has been a great company in all the musical equipment they put on the market. From their drums, to mixers, and now cabinets, they continue to impress. If you can't A/B these against other wedges, is a safe bet to knowing you are getting what you paid for, and as a pleasant suprise, more.
Purchased over 2 years ago, and still love them. I power them with a Crown 402 amp providing a thick, full sound and great highs. Using an DriveRack (ring out and feed-back suppression) really allows me to boost the volume to a point where the folks on stage tell me to turn them down. How often does that happen.....

Price, light weight, clean good looks, great sound, what else could you ask for....
Great build quality, finish is clean, they just feel real solid when moving them around.
For the build quality, sound and appearance, I have yet to find a better product for twice the price.

.We got the for our Church as additional monitors
to go with 6 Peavey Unity 1-12 monitors that
we already had on stage. These monitors had to
be pushed a little harder than the Peavey ones
to get the same sound so I ended up putting them
at the front of the stage on their own mix send.
That worked out better anyway because they don't
have a parallel output and have to either have their own feed or be at the end of the chain.
They do have both a 1/4" phone jack and a
speakon jack so you could use an adapter on
the speakon jack and daisey chain out of it.
These monitors have a good full sound if they
are pushed with enough power and sould better
if you are a little far from them which makes
it good for a stand up vocalist.

.I shopped everything under $300 and there is nothing out there that is even close to the sound/quality of this monitor. I share the stage with guitarists using Peavey and Sampson monitors. My performs as well or better and was much less expensive. The only caution I would give is that there is no parallel 1/4 jack to daisy chain. I have to be at the end of the signal chain off the board. This is not a big deal to me but if you plan on using several of these on stage you should be aware. I strongly recommend this monitor and suggest you pick one up while the price is still low. You won't get a better monitor for anywhere near this price.

.The Captain Ledge Band is all acoustic and we run a Mandolin, Bass and Guitar all direct into the board then through the monitor system. The overall sound of the A12M's onstage is outstanding. The percussionist in our band gets plenty of volume to over ride his conga's and the bass through these is incredibly accurate. We've tried other monitors onstage with our 's as well as having experience with other monitor systems. We almost hate to use anything else because our monitor system is that much superior to anything else we use. It just gets an incredible sound. Buy these monitors!
Yamaha A12M 12" 2-Way Floor Monitor
.Use it along with a pair of 15" s for solo/ duo acoustic gigs up to 4 times a week. Awesome clarity and very rugged. Am ordering a second one because they are so versitile, can be used as mains for small restraunt/ bar gigs and as monitors for the bigger set ups. I'd take one of these on a stand and one on the floor over a BOSE any time, especially if you're on a budget but don't want to skimp on quality
Yamaha A12M 12" 2-Way Floor Monitor
.I have a set of these wedges and hope to get more whenever they are on sale. These little boxes are great for sections and players where a small yet powerful monitor wedge is needed. I also sometimes use these on sticks as mains for speeches or the famous "cooking stage" at festivals.
Yamaha A12M 12" 2-Way Floor Monitor
.I play out as a solo act and this monitor works great for me. I own a EMX PA with 15" speakers so I wanted to match what I already had. You can't go wrong with . The reason I gave it a 4.5 on features is you have to buy a Y-connector if you want to daisy chain them. (as noted by another reviewer) But I don't daisy chain and is my system. (Until I can afford Bose)
