Great guitar for the price. Switched from acoustic guitar to this for classical playing. The quality is very good, looks just like my guitar teacher's $700+ guitar. The guitar sounds great, comparable to other more expensive guitars in my class. Very enjoyable to play. I would recommend this guitar to anyone looking to start playing classical guitar or anyone wanting a spare guitar.Looks and feels good. Nice finish and color.

.Got this guitar 16 years ago when I started playing and I still have it and its still straight as an arrow. I still use it all the time as a beater guitar to camp and play around with (and you can tell its got some years on it) but still sounds great and the neck is nice and straight. I've never played any guitar period, much less nylon string at this price point, that gives as much value as this guitar does.

.I was looking for an inexpensive guitar to use to learn classical guitar, and this fits the bill nicely. I googled around and it came up a lot as a good choice, and one review mentioned that they are consistently good from one to the next, so it seemed like a safe pick.

This guitar is ideal for beginners, what I mean by that is, that it is not so cheaply made so as to discourage anyone from progressing, but not something a pro would bring to a recital. It is what it is, an instrument which plays well, has decent tone, and simple for anyone to enjoy.

.The quality of guitars in not in question.I have owned other guitars,and they are all good insturments. I bought the C40 to learn classical guitar. However,I have short fingers and find that it will be to difficult to master this style of guitar with the wide neck of the C40.

.it came with the 12th fret at 4 mm ( too high for me ), so lowered mine to 3 ( easy 2 mm saddle shaving ); other than that all systems were good to go ( new strings of course ).
