I have owned many jacksons in my life, some were top notch USA models, others were mid priced models.and now this econimical model is blowing me away. It came fully set up, has flawless paint, and the kicker is the neck and headstock binding and black hardware, options usually available on much pricer models. I will be buying the beveled rhoads next. Oh,and M.F. delivered on time like they said they would! I will be rocking on now. thank you for your great service Jackson/M.F.

.I Guess I Got Good One That Did Pass Factory Inspection-Hooray!
This Is A Blowout Price For a Jackson, so expect to use Guitar Tools Which you should Have by Now.
You Know, Allen wrenches,Phillips and Flat tip screw drivers, and There wont be any problems.
And Oh, they do make books on Guitar Dynamics and set up.

.the JS22 is the best bargain for a metal or rock guitar you will find at this price point. low action, no fret buzz. fast smooth neck, frets well dressed. pots dont rub, no pickup noise, stays in tune. has the classic jackson tone and feel you expect from high end jacksons. no other brand can compete with this quality at this price. mine has a crack at the neck joint and even that doesnt hurt the tone and sustain of this thing. intonation still spot on. i put .009 d'addarios on mine but with .010's the action didnt need adjusting, still way low. if you are on a budget and want an extremely playable / usable guitar, there is no other choice, in my opinion. i've had mine for over 6 months now, bought it used, and it has ZERO issues.

.Looking for a high-quality guitar at a low price? The Squiers and Epiphones are OK, the Dean Vendettas even better, but this Dinky's value is unparalleled. No need to replace or upgrade parts. Looks and plays great. If you want more (Floyd or quilted maple top) get the Dinky 32, but the 22 is gig-worthy--no problems. PS: this instrument is not just for metal or heavier styles--it works well for jazz/R & B/pop/country as well.

.I own many guitars up to very high end ones. I bought this because Jackson Guitars were what got me into electric guitars in the 80'S when my guitar teacher had a beautiful light blue one that I coveted. Don't know why it took me so long but this was an easy impulse buy at Guitar Center for only 200. I love that pointy headstock! I put heavier gauge strings on it and had a professional set up done. It played pretty darn well before the set up with strings that had been on it as a demo model for some time but with the new strings on it it played like an absolute champ. The pick ups sound like a Jackson should and I put them through a quality amp which helps of course. Lots of highs and mids but thats what I wanted out of it. The neck plays fast and the hardware and finish (mines the electric blue) make it a darn good looking guitar. I've already practiced with my band with it and it held tuning fine. I feel confident that NOTHING at this price range can compare with this guitar. Its my new guilty pleasure and just seeing it makes me want to play it. What better standard is there?

.mainly use for rock and metal, it has a good set of pickups, neck is good and fast , no complaints considering the price they go for.

.The sounds it gives me makes it my "go-to" lead guitar. It's all around good , but for solos it's my one true love of all my axes.

.I'm just a novice guitarist but wanted to upgrade my old beginner guitar that I've had for many years. This guitar fit the bill just fine. It looks great - I love the satin black finish. Sound and action are fine for my purposes. There is some fret buzz when down tuning but that might be expected. The pickups seem a little on the budget side but are operating just fine. I reviewed several options before deciding to purchase this one and I'm very happy with my decision.
