I've had dozens of high end guitars over the years including ESP custom shops, Ibanez Prestige, Charvels, Carvins, Jackson soloists etc. This guitar is on par with any of them. The Floyd rose is real dispitenwhat the other reviewer stated.
I switched my bridge Pearly gates out for a Distortion for a little more insanity. It goes well with the Jazz neck pickup.
I love the flames maple top and Birdseye maple neck. The neck is great. I've got an RG655m that's honestly a little too thin for my taste but is still an incredible guitar.
ESP uses switchcraft parts in the electronics in these. Everything on it is top shelf!!!!!
One of my all time favs.

.After looking for a nice superstrat for the better part of a year I came upon a great deal for this guitar and took it while I had the chance. I had some very specific feature specifications that I was looking for in a new axe (for use in both recording as well as live shows) and I believe that I found it with this guitar. The craftsmanship and materials are very good and this guitar is also very pleasing to the eye (which is always a plus). But what about the playability and tone? Well I can confidently say that after having owned at least 20 different guitars over the past 21 or so odd years, this is one of the best sounding axes that I have ever owned.
The Seymour Duncans really sing on this guitar and are great for both rhythms and leads; especially leads. I am able to switch between Santana-ish tones as well as Yngwie-styled leads in one fell swoop on this beast. I am partial to maple necks with a thin (but not too thin) profile and this guitar has it, along with the look and sound of maple necks that I like so much. This is also my first guitar with a licensed Floyd Rose and I gotta say that it is hard not to use it a bit too much. but it sounds so great. Anyway, if you like a good workhorse guitar with great looks and killer tones and you are partial to classic rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, than this is a great guitar to check out!
