I wanted to buy a decent quality guitar for a Metal style pickup upgrade. What I got far exceeded my expectations. What a fabulous instrument! Unparalled quality for the money. The pickups are decent too. (I threw some SD Blackouts in mine, and this guitar is now a total BEAST!) The Floyd Rose takes some patience to get used to, but once you figure it out, its all good. Out of the box, this is a great intermediate level guitar for Hard Rock, or Metal styles. This was my first experience with ESP, as I usually play Les Pauls, and I was blown away by my MH-50. Buy it with confidence.

.This guitar is fantastic. I've been into a few music shops and the guitars just didn't feel right. Got this one shipped. There's no going back... Great rockabilly sound. If you play Doom metal, this guitar gets crunchy and filthy. I highly recommend this guitar if you don't have alot of money. GET IT!

.I have had this guitar since 2007 so I speak of this instrument with some experience. Right out of the box mine was set up to play fairly well however not to my liking. I am experienced with Floyd Rose bridges so it was no big deal for me to adjust it and its been fine ever since. I had no issues sound wise from the stock pick ups but did upgrade them to SD's. No problems with the truss rod or neck, in fact I haven't had to make an adjustment yet. The finish on the hardware does fade a little but I have had no issues with it going to bare metal or rusting. The finish on the guitar it self is bullet proof, good old poly finish. I love the body contours very comfortable to play, standing or seated and the neck is slim and fast. If you have issues with the neck "sticking" while you move your hand around the fret board just hit it with #0000 steel wool. Listen I've played the sh!t out of this guitar for almost 4 years now, heck I even took it to IRAQ for a year and this thing is still kicking @ss. I would recommend this guitar to any one, any time any where. Buy it, you'll love it.

. can't beat these MFers!(musicians firends_ers)
Just got it & opened her up2 check'er out! It's not really 4 me, my daughter wanted a sweet blk gtr, well I'm sure she's gonna freak! I'd gotten her the Washburn Hanna Montana elec gtr a couple years ago & she grew outta that HM phaze, so neglected her practice, but I'd given her my Little Martin acc/elec that she's been progeressing on. I'll tell U what, this is better than the 1st real guitar I got 4 Xmas. Enitially, I'd thoght, the blemmish was between the bridge & the pick-up, but was actually @ the base of the f/r bridge, wow what a steal, tho! I'm kinda jealous...
Except 4 the blemmish, which I knew was there b4 buying, was the bomb digety!
killer!

.I bought this guitar a while ago and i have to say it wasnt really worth the money. the fret buzz was pretty bad and the cheap pick ups didnt help. but other than that throw some better pick ups on it and it may work out.

.The guitar does have a lot of potential. I got it used and in "very good condition" Not true, I had to refret the guitar since half of frets were almost out at treble side. When I looked inside the trem cavity the previous owner made a huge wood cut probably to allow the trem's block to float a lot more. The Floyd Rose special is really cheap and poorly made. The low e saddle screw was stripped,so I had to replace it too. Now after a couple of hundreds more. The guitar is back in shape.

.I bought this guitar and as soon as i plugged it into my amp, I knew that I wouldn't be able to put it down. Love the floyd rose, great for divebombing. the shredding is amazing and the tone sounds good even on my 15 watt crate. i strongly recommend this guitar. Don't waste your money on a more expensive one. This is an amazing deal.

.I've owned the MH-50 for over a year, putting alot of miles on it along the way.For the price it's a decent guitar it seems to stay in tune relativly well, and has nice action/playability.While the pickups are kinda cheap they seem to get the job done. Also the guitar seems very reliable, I haven't had any problems that would render it unplayable. On the other hand, the neck doesnt seem very stable, meaning truss rod adjustments often, and I still end up with some string buzz. The biggest problem is the fret work, there is a gap between the fretbord and ALL frets on the high E string side of the guitar. So if you happen to get the high e pulled off the top of the neck (it happens) the string gets caught in the gap and can cause some troubles during a song/gig.The only other thing is the finish on the hardware, not great but OK for this price range. All in all I recommend this as a beginners guitar for someone who wants to play metal and hard rock on a budget, but beware you'll probably end up upgrading eventually.

I love it. Get it. It's the best guitar I've ever had. The whammy bar lets me bend notes like never before and the guitar stays in tune. I've never had the small fine tuning wheels before and I love having them there. I can very quickly make slight tuning adjustments while playing. The fretboard feels good. The guitar is beautiful. The electronics are solid. There's no hum when I'm close to my recording equipment. The only thing that I haven't been able to create as much as I would like to are pinch harmonics. But I imagine that I just have to find the right settings on my other equipment. Anyway, if you're trying to decide which guitar to get, this one will make you happy!
