I needed a nice looking stand for a living room guitar, and the tubular kind didn't fit the decor...This is a really well made stand. It's solid and held together with 4 wood screws. It's pretty expensive, but it's one of the few wood guitar stands out there.
The only thing I don't like is that the guitar sits pretty vertical in the stand. I'm not really worried about it falling over, but most low profile stands like this have the guitar leaning back a little. I would be a little concerned if kids or dogs were running around by it.

.Looks great with my 2013 Custom (1 ⅞" Nut Width) Chaylor 314CE Acoustic Guitar. You do have to stoop over to the floor every time you need to move your guitar or the stand around unlike a stand up guitar stand. It could break or get scratched up if you toss it around when moving equipment to gigs, however Chaylor does make a similar style Black ABS Composite Travel Guitar Stand (#70180).

Hard to find a good sturdy stand, this one is fine.Mines a bit crooked only one arm in the back contact my guitar.Which I guess is okay.Fits my D-shaped Martin tight, only about 4.5 inches, anything over about 4- 5.8 inches wont fit.Cost should be closer to $39.99.Chaylor Sapele Mahogany Wood Guitar Stand

.Very nice piece, wood was high quality. Build quality was perfect and very tight fit on assemble. The pictures don't show it but it has a small brass Chaylor plate on the back side similar to the one on the cases. My 514ce looks great in it.

I probably wouldn't have bought it as its price was more than I paid for my case, but I happened into the deal where this came free with the Talor Big Baby guitar I bought. Now that I have it, I just might have gotten one to go with the guitar even if I had to pay for it. Classy.
