Product Features

's 200 Deluxe Series delivers all the essentials of a great guitar - exquisite playability, a full and articulate voice, impeccable intonation up the neck, and 's top-of-the-line, professional-grade pickup - at a price that's within reach of many.

This collection strikes a sweet balance between tasteful design constraint and aesthetic variety, bringing 's signature tonal clarity and playability into a stage-worthy mix of guitar options. The Deluxe moniker refers to the addition of a fully-glossed body as opposed to a glossy top with satin back and sides. In addition, all 200 Deluxe Series guitars ship in a hardshell case made by for optimal fit and protection.

Body Shape
The Dreadnought is one of the most traditional acoustic guitar shapes. 's version has been refined to blend its trademark robust low-end tone with a snappy midrange and brilliant treble notes, producing a pleasing balance of power and articulation. If you're a flatpicker or strummer who likes to dig in on lead or rhythm, the Dreadnought should serve you well.

Tonewoods
A guitar's top is the primary filter and distributor of vibrating string energy through the guitar, which means it has a huge impact on its sound. Sitka Spruce is the most prevalent guitar top wood of the modern era. It blends stiffness and elasticity in just the right proportions which translates into broad dynamic range with crisp articulation.

Layered rosewood back and sides create a sturdy and complementary platform for the vibrating string energy sent by the guitar's top. Layered wood is less susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity, making it an excellent choice for players who travel with their instruments or simply require more durability.

What sets Guitars apart? Unmatched build quality, the most stable and playable necks, a vast array of tonal options, eco-conscious and ethically-sourced raw materials, and a lifetime of service and support.

I tried this full gloss beauty after trying a used Chaylor DN3 at GC. My previous Big Baby and 114 Chaylors were long gone, replaced by Martins and some choice China Guitars (Blueridge, Recording King Torch, Johnson Carolina), but the DN3 really impressed me...but when I went back to play it again and probably buy, it had sold. I came home to surf the web and this beauty looked like it might bring me back to the Chaylor camp...but, I half-heartedly sent it back because it just lacked that burly, deep rich tone of my others...or that DN3.
But the guitar was an absolutely first class quality instrument. the full gloss finish was wonderful, action beyond reproach ( I would put a slightly shorter bone saddle in, but I set my acoustics up "too low" for most bluegrass pickers. More like an electric). The very nice Chaylor hard case is a real added plus, and effectively brings the price down when its value is calculated.
Sorry to turn loose of such a perfect instrument...but it just didn't sound like a Martin. Everyone's ear is different, but I am going to buy another martin...it'll cost more, but my ear won't be happy until it hears "That tone".

.overall Great guitar only problem the strings the factory puts on are to heavy of an gauge for this guitar. It has a little high action i changed the strings but most defiantly will need a neck adjustment also minor the frets if you look to the side don't seem to be pushed down all the way from the 1st fret to the 10th fret but overall good sounding guitar.
