I have a very nice 2009 ESP Eclipse II in vintage black. It's a very well done matte finish that makes for a very resonant body wood and feels great against your hands.

The guitar is light and sleek and well crafted. It has perhaps the most comfortable neck in the industry. Perfectly tapered for a fast smooth feel.

Everything is working like it should. The EMG pickups are nice and powerful and clean. No issues.

The condition is very good but not mint. There are a handul of shallow scratches on the guitar. A little buckle rash on the back. No big gouges or dents. Just basic playwear.

The frets have very little wear. See the string spread pic.

At this price point i find that ESP Japan Standards from the late 2000's are an exceptional value to tone ratio. Particularly when you look at the price of today's high end MIJ guitars. It's an excellent guitar for any style.
