Just as you'd expect form Radial, the Plexitube is built for very low
self-noise. The tube is mounted on its side to keep the pedal profile
down for easy pedal action and is powered by an external 15VDC supply.
Power is internally regulated and filtered to eliminate noise. To
further reduce self-noise a unique ground plane circuit topology is
employed that makes Tonebone tube distortion pedals the quietest of all
pedals in their class.
Built for the Stage
The Tonebone Plexitube is built tough. The 14-gauge steel construction
reduces stress on the PC board and a baked enamel finish will keep your
Tonebone Plexitube looking great for years! Designed to enhance on-stage
functionality, the Plexitube features two distinct distortion channels
for on-the-fly transition between rhythm and lead settings. Channel-1
has been optimized for rhythm with chunk rhythm tones and scooped out
mids for a thunderous wall-of-sound and complete world domination.
Channel-2 is optimized to produce razor-sharp cut for solos and
sustaining mids that are so smooth, they can make a grown man cry. This
is augmented with an effects loop that can automatically turn your delay
on for leads. No tap dancing!

separate trim, drive, contour and EQ controls give you instant command
of both rhythm and lead distortion settings as well as a true bypass

As the name implies, Trimode has three settings: 'True Bypass Clean
Mode' for the natural tone of your guitar - direct to your amp; 'Rhythm
Mode' with input drive, output gain and our unique Interstage drive to
precision-tune the mayhem you are about to unleash; and 'Solo Mode' with
its own input drive, output gain, and mid boost for days of sustain.
Trimode goes even further with a built-in effects loop on the solo
channel that lets you instantly engage a delay or pedal chain with a
single foot action. Trimode: 3 modes, huge tone and amazing dynamics -
finally, a pedal that sounds and feels like a real tube amp!

on each channel so that you could dial in the perfect amount of grit?
Now imagine being able to adjust the mid boost separately on your solo
channel to increase sustain for those violin type solo tones. How about
automatically introducing a delay as soon as you go from crunchy rhythm
tones to Star Spangled solos? This is Trimode.
Easy to use
The Radial Trimode offers an amazing combination of simplicity and
functionality with innovative, well thought-out features accessible
through intuitive controls and I/O options. The two footswitches provide
for easy toggling between modes and large LED indicators allow instant
at-a-glance monitoring of the Trimode's status. Separate drive, level
and mid-boost control for each distortion channel gives you the power to
easily set up exactly the distortion sounds you want, then toggle
between them with no tap-dancing! The overall Top End and Drive Gain
switches together with variable High and Low EQ controls and the
'anti-presence' Filter control will guide you to the perfect tone for
your amp/guitar combination. Effects can be connected via the Insert
1/4" send-receive TRS jack and are switched in when you press the
'Toggle' switch to select Ch-2.
