Vintage 1970s Gibson ES-335 Walnut w/ OHSC
If you are looking for a killer vintage Gibson ES-335, this is it! This guitar has wonderful low action with no buzzing and it sounds lively and warm at every pickup position. We are not exactly sure of the year because this guitar does not have a serial number on the back of the headstock. Its hard to say why there is no serial but this is usually because of it either being some kind of prototype or possibly an old factory repair. There are no signs of cracks or issues at all. We have inspected this guitar top to bottom and there are no signs of finish work so our best guess is that it probably never had a serial for some reason. We have had lots of ES-335s from this era and this one is consistent in every way with the others we have seen.
The neck is on the small side as you would expect on a 70s Gibson and it has a nice and fast feel. All of the electronics are functional and original. This is a wonderful, original ES335 that plays and sounds great! It includes the original Gibson hardshell case.
