Product Features

Integrated Circuit (IC) capacitors are known for their musicality. Installing this 0.02MFD IC capacitor will allow you more control over rolling back the highs on your tone knob, part of the popular "Grease Bucket" tone circuit upgrade.

When making modifications to upgrade your Fender guitar, be sure to use genuine Fender parts.

I bought 2 of these to do the complete rewire of my 2017 Gibson SG Standard with the Jimmy Page 4 push/pull pot wiring. Besides being kinda bigger that I was expecting these Fender tone caps appeared to be high quality. These are rated 0.02MFD 50V IC but are essentially 0.022uF for all intents & purposes. Just like 0.05 is basically the value of the more commonly seen 0.047 cap. The 50V part is very appealing to me because I like this value for guitar tone caps. The electric guitar puts out such a low voltage with its passive circuit that all the tone caps that are like 500V +/- are ridiculous overkill. After completing my JP wiring + these caps in my SG I found that the tone control sounds alot less dark than stock and almost has a "quack" to it and maybe a bit of a "cocked wah" type sound in there too. I'm overall extremely happy with these Fender capacitors! Thanks MF for carrying these!
