Low output, but I boost with a Boss Limiter/Enhancer and get some great sounds. I put these in a maple bodied Squier Jazz bass.Fender Original Jazz Bass Pickup Set
.Working Fender MIM to a stronger and fuller sound. Simple and easy mod. Everything fits and a couple of soldering contacts. The controls were quality Fender volume and tone pots and complete the sound. Much deeper response and plenty of bite. The back up bass just became a starter.
