I am dissapointed that Fender would put their name on a product that was not finished well. These parts are made in America and should reflect our quality. The base of the ashtray, where the holes are, was rough and put scratches on my bass as I was trial fitting it. Also a template would be helpful, eyeballing the ashtray and pickup cover got the pretty close I guess. The parts make the bass look very good, vintage. .When these first arrived I looked at them I noticed that the metal working was pretty nice. So all I had to do was just pilot a couple of holes and then drill and my bass looked so much more nice! It made my bass look heavier and thicker it just made my bass look like it had balls. So all in all, I'm pretty happy with it!
