These strings are terribly wrapped around the ball end, the high e and b strings will unavoidably unwrap during even most gentle tremolo use, making the strings out of tune of course. Re-tuning will only unwrap the ball end even further causing them to snap eventually (gone thru 3 packs already). These strings could be ok for a hardtail or floyd rose guitar (already to bummed out to try), they actually sound good and have decent life before rust wears in, however, being fender he manufacturer of the world famous stratocaster and other tremolo equipped guitars, their design is dreadfully engineered. MUST AVOID IF USING ANY BALL END TREMOLO (sync, 2 point, kahler, wilkinson, etc) unless you wanna mess with soldering.Fender 250LR Super 250 Nickel-Plated Steel Electric Strings - Light/
.These are great!!! Put these on a custom strat and they sound and feel great. I pick up these and some strings in other gauges (all Fender strings) and could not be happy. Great if you are on a budget or not. I think these are just as good if not better than the more popular brand of strings. Love the 9-46 as well!!

.These are very the strings that came on my Squier Bullet Strat – well, not quite; these are the 9-46es, not the 9-42s. Either way, this line of strings is as durable as they are inexpensive.
Before I got my Bullet almost a year ago, I had been using Dean Markley Blue Steel Mediums on previous guitars. The strings that had come strung on the Bullet were so appealing to me that I contacted M/F to ask what they were. So I ordered more. And then more.
These may not be the *best* strings (and I mean that literally, not as a compromised compliment), but they stay in tune well, they're durable, and they hold their tone for a good time before going dull. I play rather hard (which is why I had been using Mediums), and have never broken a string from this light-gauge set, despite vigorous bending and hard strumming.
These are so inexpensive that they're painless to try-out. I order sets in threes, for myself and in case a friend needs a set.

.The shipping was quick and the strings were in fair quality. But they buzzed, no matter how hard I pressed them, they buzzed. I increased and lowered the action and they still buzzed. And buzzing is no good when you are trying to learn songs so it gets really annoying.
