I contacted Custom Guitars Friend ahead of ordering this pick guard for my brand new American Standard Telecaster to make sure it would fit. They said it would. It did not fit. Yes it has the 8 holes for mounting, and the 2 holes for the lipstick pickup, but it is not cut deep enough for the top of the neck. .of course this was a vanity purchase, but you know, ya just gotta do these things once in awhile. bought a mop for my previous strat. improves the overall look of your guitar, and you'll play better.

.The pickguard looks great, but I had to pull the neck off to install it. Sot of a pain but installation with the neck on is next to impossible. When the smoke cleared it looks great and worth the effort
