Of course this cover makes your bass look cool but be aware that it does not come with screws or a locating template. So you have to eyeball it into position. Be careful when eyeballing the position because the back sides of the screw holes have sharp burrs that will scratch the paint/finish of your beloved bass. .I installed the J-Bass Bridge Cover and a pickup cover to an old Fender Mustang Bass. Now it looks like a the only Jazz Bass with a 30" scale.I love the old vintage Fender basses with the chrome accessories. I don't know why so many bassplayers removed the chrome covers from the bridge and pickups. The brassy vintage looks sure beats the stripped down look. If you want to add flash, some retro style and graet looks to your axe, the bridge and pickup covers are worth the price and is the cheaper alternative to digging deep into your pockets for a Fender Road Worn or New Old Stock line.

.Once I received the new chrome accent for my Fender 5-Strind MIM Jazz Bass, I was disappointed that it would not fit my new, recently purchased guitar. Since the 5-string bridge is wider than a 4-string, the rear of the cover hung over the end of the guitar in which would have caused interference with the guitar strap if mounted. Unfortunately I will need to return it for a credit.

.If you're looking for that retro look or just the Harley - lots of chrome thing - this does the trick.
The quality is good and is a faithful reproduction of the original. Delivery was VERY fast but that didn't help get it on my bass quickly because it doesn't come with screws (unless you count the way I felt by not receiving fasteners) so I'm still hunting for screws that look right, a week and a half later. For God's sake raise the price a few cents and put 2 screws in the package!

.It's funny how a little piece of metal can instantly make a bass look like it's worth a few hundred bucks more than it is! I liked mine so much that I also got a guy to make me one for my hardtail Strat... and it looks awesome too!

.This is a very good product. It makes your bass look good and believe it or not it keeps a lot of the dust away from your pickups. I have the bridge cover and the pickup cover. My Jazz Bass looks good and sounds good too!

.It used to be common for players to remove this bridge cover from Fender Bass Guitars in order to
have more notes. I think this J BASS BRIDGE COVER vastly improves the appearance of my Fender Jazz Bass.

.Looks awesome on my fender jazz! My wife asked me what it did? I said nothing, it just looks good! I love what it added to my bass! It's not in the way at all I do t finger down at the bridge. It's 2 screws to remove when changing strings not a big deal. One critique is I wish it were just a 1/4" longer it does not quite cover the bridge pick by just a tad. But I love it.

.nice product but had to send back bridge cover and pickup cover no mounting screws. you can get the same products from Angela fender bass parts with screws provided.ordered parts including chrome control cover 60's knobs and thumb rest. I put all on my fender squire jazz bass looks just like a 60's jazz bass, real coooool looking.

.Packaging was missing mounting screws. Also, I recommend a mounting template be added to allow bridge cover to be added to Fender specifications
