I normally use diadarios ghs or ernieball but afew moths ago i tried the 250L on two of my 4strats iplan to chage the other two over as for other guitars iwill keep diadarios on them the fenders are different than other fender stings they feel and sound like a cross between ernieball and diadarios Im sold try em for 3.50 you will love the tone and feel of these stringsFender 250L Super 250 Nickel-Plated Steel Electric Guitar Strings - Light

.I've been using these strings for years. Not too heavy and not too light, they suit me and many other players I'm sure. I had a set on my gig guitar (Fender Tele FMT) for more than two years and finally changed them. I don't play that many gigs these days so the strings were still pretty good. I didn't mean to leave them on that long but they had not gone flat yet.

.These had come as stock strings on a Squier Bullet "HH" Strat-style guitar. I had expected such strings to be cheapo "starter" strings, and planned to replace them with Dean Markley Blue Steel medium-gauge strings. (I use the Bullet for recording, and unexpectedly it is my favorite guitar of all time, in terms of playability, though I've owned "nicer" and more expensive guitars.) As I played on the Fender 250L strings, however, I didn't notice much difference from the Blue Steels, and it took me some time to realize that they were light-gauge, not medium-gauge, because they are so strong and pliable but stay in tune well. I e-mailed Custom Guitar's Friend to find out what strings they had included on the Squier Bullet, and they said Fender 250L. Since they fit the nut well and play almost the same as good mediums, I just might stick with these - and it's great that they're among the lower-priced strings. (But then, anything that Fender puts its name on is bound to be good.)

.I was always an erni ball fan untill i received a standard plus top strat strung with these, now I use them all the time on all my strats. Before they came out with the bullet strings this is what they strung all thier strats with I was told.
