These picks have the least amount of drag when striking a string,I have tried them all. Although it might not seem like a big deal,When you hybrid pick it does make a difference. These picks react more like a fingernail.I can feel the string through these picks,Maybe it's just my head but I just can't play that well with other picks...Just the perfect pick for me
After playing for 45 years,I have tried tons of picks.I got use to these and I love these things.

.As others have observed in their reviews, Fender Heavy picks create less drag across the strings. The confetti pattern makes them easy to find when you're looking around for a pick. I prefer the Heavy to the Medium (bought both).

.These are one of my favorite picks. The heavy is my favorite one but the thin will break in a short time. I find that these are better than the jim dunlop tortex.

.When I need a medium pick I use the Fender celluloid confetti they have never let me down and the red, white and blue colors look great.
