.I use this cloth primarily for removing my body's chemicals from my guitars with nitrocellulose finishes.
Otherwise the finish will stain, discolor or crack over time.
It's also perfect for cleaning computer monitor screens, iPad screens, GPS screens and other similar devices.
Once I discovered that versatility, I ordered a half-dozen more and gave them to friends and family, who were as delighted as I was with the results.
Fender Factory Cloth
.This is a microfiber cloth that has a terry cloth feel and look. It is similar to the Fender Ultimate Wipe but has a slightly coarser and slightly longer knap. This is a good quality finishing cloth for polishes ,waxes and detailers. I would not use this for applying waxes, polishes or fret oils. For application I would use either a foam polishing pad or a felt style microfiber cloth. These would work great for detailer application and wipe down. Just be careful of dust on the instrument surface. Do a light dust off prior to rubbing the surface with anything. Remember, it is not the cloth that scratches the surface it is the dust.
Overall this is a good quality finishing cloth. When these get dirty, throw it in the washing machine.

.The Fender Factory Cloth is a textured microfiber cloth that is much easier to handle than other microfiber cloths I have used in the past. Its size provides ample coverage in its use. The cloth can be easily washed when it gets dirty, and then dried in the sunshine. I use the Fender Factory Cloth only for polishing my guitars. It's an excellent value, in my opinion.
