I have Fender Pure Nickel strings on my Fender Jazz bass and my Fender Stratocaster, and I can't say enough about them. I just feel that they compliment the nickel frets on both instruments very well, giving a smooth feel and sound. I lose that weird chime and clank of steel strings and replace it with the smoothness of the actual notes being played. I find other strings to be harsh, and these strings are the opposite. I enjoy strings after they are broken in, and these strings are my favorites. After 17 years of playing and playing every other strings on the market, these are IT, never will I stray from using them!The bullet ends just fit better, period. If you have a Fender, these are your strings.
USA made, and made well.
Cheap to buy, but not cheap sounding or playing. There is no better value IMO.

.I never tried "pure nickel strings" before. Put these on a Fender Strat.
Have another Fender Strat with Ernie Ball "nickel wound" strings. Both guitars
have same "vintage noiseless" pickups and tone woods and necks.
Tested guitars on same amp clean sound.
"Pure nickels" have less output and a very nice warm sound.
"Nickel wounds" have more output and a very nice brighter sound.
Now I have two nice but different sounding Strat guitars.
Is one better than the other? IMO No. Just different. If you have not tried
Fender "pure nickels" give them a try. You might find a tone that you never
heard before!

.I strung these up on a (Prepare yourself) A Fender Starcaster. Yep. Starcaster. I plan on fixing it up to play as good as a MIA Strat. Thing is, it DRAMATICALLY increased tone. Gave it that classic vibe. Reminds me of that Stevie Ray Vaughn sound. These strings stayed in tune very fast and well. I really only got these to see if the Starcaster was good enough to go through with the over-haul. I was blown away. Fender's description was spot on. Only issue and it's not the manufacture's fault, Is that these don't have a very high output. So if you want an all around string that will play anything, don't get these. Pick you up some heavy gauge strings made with another material. Do your research about string materials. I was using the .009's, bends never sounded so sweet. Great, great string for blues and classic rock.

.I've tried many strings, even several other Fender branded sets. These just hold up longer, and have a nice warm tone that I like.
Easily accessable packaging for "on the fly" string change. Great tone, stays in tune.
These strings last longer for me than most others, they stay in tune great and have a great tone. I play pretty hard, and while breaking strings is nothing new to me, at least these seem to last a bit longer.

.I tried other strings and found them to be difficult to keep in tune on my Squier Strat. Every time I would hit the term, it would be out of tune in seconds. Once I switched to the Bullet strings, they stayed in tune and improved the toffee of the guitar. I used 10's which are light enough to take a good bend yet strong enough not to break.
