I was expecting a longer string slot on these. They are the same as the current production vintage saddle. The strings hit the front of the slot and then the top of the saddle, decreasing the downforce. EJ doesn't mind them on his signature strat, so I guess I'm nitpicking...Fender Pure Vintage Stratocaster "Pat. Pend." Saddle Kit
