.The AM guitars are a bit different in size, and have the double cutaway. My new AM93 needed a case and this one is about as close as you can get, without custom ordering a case.

.Very nice case, inside and out. I have an Ibanez Am-73 Electric guitar and this case fits it like a glove. The plush blue interior is guaranteed to protect your guitar in just about any circumstance. If you have an "AM" series Ibanez guitar, you'll love this case.

.I bought this case for an Ibanez AM-73B and the only way it could fit better than it does is if it was custum made for that guitar and only that guitar. Even then, it's only off by a smidge at the ends of the double cutaway horns. My foam and fabric were all in perfect shape and installed beautifully unlike one of the other reviewers. There was some "new case" smell from off-gassing of the glue that was used in the upholstery install, and I could see how someone who's unfamiliar with modern upholstery work and foam compatible glues could confuse it with mustiness. I put some desiccant/silica packs in the case and closed it up over night and it was all but gone this morning. Ibanez has these cases made by TKL and if you're familiar with the brand you know it's hard to beat their quality without spending at least twice as much. I have my Martin in one of their cases and it's been a tank, I expect that this one will be no different. Buy with confidence.

.The case had a sharp staple sticking out, the guitar neck cradle was lumpy, accessory compartment would not open. Sent back for another one.
I am getting frustrated with MF and looking elsewhere.

.This case is a pretty good fit for my new AM 93. It is very nice looking (love the blue interior)and offers good protection for my guitar. This is a good case at an excellent price.

.Ibanez recommended this case because they no longer make the correct case for a GAX30 electric guitar. While it appears sturdy enough for performance, there's too much room and the axe slips around inside. Wouldn't want to ship this on a plane or truck without a lot of packing materials around the guitar!
I filled in with foam in the body chamber and it works adequately.
Not the fault of Custom Guitar's Friend. Their service and case-finder worked great.
Too bad Ibanez doesn't make the right cases for all their guitars anymore.
