First 12-string...plays very strong and has ringing deep sound. Bit bulky to hold but expected that with a 12 string "jumbo"! No scratch guard, though this allows for the color to be seen and enjoyed. Buy a clear removable one online. Color a little darker than expected and advertised. Needs continuous tuning which is a little annoying with a 12 string.Quality construction as expected from Ibanez.

I have used 12's forever. I had a Mosrite Double Neck, 6/12, in the day, I now have 2 Dean 'Boca' 12s, an original '65 Fender 'Electric 12', a '70's Martin 'Sigma' 12, and back in the day, 2 different 'Kingston' 12s. Wish I still had the Relics, Who Knew?? After a truss rod tweak, and filing the underside of the bridge 'Bone' with sandpaper, the action at the 12th fret is (3)32d's I believe it could be made LOWER, But, that's pretty good. Sound is great, through an amp,[Fender Acoustasonic-15], and Pure Acoustic! I used to own a Guitar/Amp shop in the '70s, Sooo I've done lots of set-ups.
