I've had this guitar for about a month now and it is now my favorite guitar. Let's get to the good points: hardshell case included, great looking black finish, unfinished 5 piece neck, Gotoh tuners, awe-inspiring pickups. I get pinch harmonics everywhere on this thing.

The setup was actually quite a pain initially. The factory setup was horrible. After truss rod adjustments, bridge adjustments, intonation adjustments, wash rinse and repeat...I got a pretty flat fretboard with low action that is easy to play and very fast.

I have gotten to record with this through my Marshall attached to my pedal board going into a Line6 GX to my computer. I recorded the lead for So Far Away by Avenged Sevenfold and it honestly sounded just like Synyster's setup. Granted, I had to tweak a lot but I got it there.

The guitar is crisp sounding with fantastic pickups...they make my EMG's on my ESP 350MH-NT look sad, and I was happy with those. Granted, this guitar is quite a bit more expensive.

If you're really in the market for this type of guitar and don't want flashy tremolos but rather a fixed bridge that won't let you down...look no further. I know I have years before my skill outgrows the guitar.

.I was fortunate to pick up a mint 'lightly used' version and you couldn't even tell it had been used. The hardshell case is a nice touch. I will admit, setup was quite tedious and the factory setup needed a lot of work. However, once setup was done, I started to play, and WOW.

The pickups are rich, even when using the bridge pickups. Pinch harmonics are all over the string. Literally...I have to be careful where I hit or I get off sounds. Using the center setting gives a full-blown amazing full sound and the neck pickup tones it down a bit but still offers tonal variance. This guitar sounds good clean, it sounds good distorted...it just sounds good.

I did a direct compare with my ESP LTD MH-350NT with EMG 81 and 85 pickups. The ESP sounded thin on the bridge pickups and couldn't meet the tonal depth of the 652 on any setting. Both used monster cables to hook to the sawitch box. EVERYTHING sounds better on this guitar. It makes my amp look sucky (a G-DEC 30) but I am having fun with my new pedal board with Korg tuner and Morley three guitar switch.

Great guitar, great price (yes, I said it here). Just make sure to use good gear with it. You'll appreciate the difference.

.Everything about this guitar is great. I have been hearing people talking about some bad factory setups. I didn't have a single problem out of the box. Just how it goes I guess. Comes with hardshell case.

Guitar feels great. The neck is thin and fast. Very comfortable. The pickups are fantastic. They give the guitar a huge sound. Rest of the hardware is great. This guitar can really handle anything. If you are in the market for a higher end guitar, check this one out. It didn't disappoint me.

For the price, you really do get a lot.

.There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this guitar. The neck is the most incredible neck I've ever had the pleasure to play. It is an absolute beast and the pickups are spot on,they can handle anything.
I can't recommend this guitar enough

.I've owned tons of guitars and right now, this is my #1. I've been playing for almost 40 years, and am an old-school shredder from the 80's. I still play for fun and this guitar is certainly fun to play. The Dimarzio pickups in this guitar sound awesome through my Kemper Profiling Amplifier and it plays like butter. I love the fixed bridge for the double-stop bends. I can do them with a tremolo, but it's so much easier with a hardtail. Plus re-stringing is a breeze along with the locking tuners. I can't say enough about this guitar. Thanks Custom Guitar's Friend!
