While it cost almost as much as the bass itself, this was a good investment I think - acoustics are easier to damage, and I'm not sure I'd trust one to a gig bag if it's going to leave the house often. Besides, the AEB5E is a bargain, so use the money saved to protect it!Basic case - hinges, handle, latches, storage under the neck. Does have the ability to take a padlock, which could be helpful if flying with it.
Appears to be solidly-built. Should hold up for years with normal use, I'd think. Advertised as designed for the AEB10 acoustic bass, but fits my AEB5E like a glove!

.I use my AEB5E almost every week in my acoustic duo Empty Pockets. The bass fit perfectly in the case and the quality is very good for the price. I can't really comment on durablity as it was just purchased. Would buy again at this price.

.I work out in Afghanistan an so I needed a case that could keep up with this environment out here. Its a really good case for lugging around from place to place. The inside is nice and spacious with very soft lining with a storage compartment underneath the neck that opens up with enough space inside for a petal, a few extra sets of strings and some pics. The only problem I have with it is that the neck brace just forward of the body of the bass doesnt really hold it all that well. Its good for what it is. Just that it could be a little smaller to fit the neck better. Other than that, the 5 locks that are one it seam to hold pretty well. Although not the best made but good enough. Its a good deal if you just want something to carry your Acoustic bass around and can hold up to scratches, hard bumps and small drops.

.This is a great case at a great price. I use it for my Ibanez AEB5E Acoustic-Electric Bass. It prvides great protection against bumps and small drops. You can't go wrong with this case.

.some people say this is a bit pricey, but if you consider this case was made specifically for the guitar you are putting in it and the fit is perfect, it really isn't pricey. I'm sure you could take a chance and order an after market and fine one that fits this well, but how many would you order and return before you find just the right one. The AEB5 and AEB10 both fit very well, (have both). Shipping was fast as ussual with musicians friend, been exclusively doing business with them for yrs. Keep up the great work MF!

.I think this case is a good fit for the Ibanez Acoustic Base. It should provide good protection. My only problem is the cost, a bit high IMHO.

.I tried a number of other cases that just didn't meet my expectations. I bought this case for my Ibanez SBGE 110 Acoustic Bass and it serves my purpose masterfully. It is well made, attractive, good hardware, well padded, lots of interior storage, and it is solid. The only draw back is it is a bit bulky, but I'm satisfied. I say try it, I think you'll like it too.

.Have used generic cases in the past. They are OK, but this Ibanez case is made for this bass guitar. It fits like a glove. Well made product. Will certainly provide the protection for my new acoustic bass.
