.I have owned a Schecter HellRaiser C-7 FR for years and love it. I purchased this guitar from WoodwindBrasswind a very highly respected store on eBay. I first noticed that it wouldn't stay in tune when I used the Floyd Rose Tremolo system. It would go out of tune nearly a half step sharp after pulling up and about a half step flat after pushing down. I replaced the strings, but it still couldn't stay in tune. I then took off the Tremolo system and checked the basswood body for any cracking or gaps. The body was perfect. The blades of the Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge were fine, but the Mounting Studs had scratches and were showing pot-medal through the chrome. This is indicative of adjusting the action when the Floyd Rose Tremolo System is under full tension of the springs, which is something that should never be done. The sticker on the back said it was set up in the USA by #43. The studs didn't look too bad, so I put Teflon tape around the threads and put it back together. It still went out of tune, the same as before. I adjusted the springs in the back under several different configurations. It still doesn't stay in tune.
I contacted Schecter Guitar Research via email and was told to show receipt of purchase from woodwindBrasswind. Then they questioned me about the price if it was new… After I gave them the receipt info. I was told that if I wanted it fixed I would have to ship, here is the conversation.

I then asked them if I would be reimbursed for shipping and if there were any other options and I was told that I would not be. Shipping cost 1/4 the price of guitar. Thanks Schecter.
