Comeon Schecter, I've been a schecter lover for many years. Ths Stilleto bass I bought is top notch but the case is just junk. I played an outdoor show the other day and the temp ourtside was only 70. The case was exposed to sun for only an hour. That snazzy Schecter logo on top is what disfigured so badly and now the lid is crooked and I have to force it to close. I have a 25 year old fender plastic case of similar build that has never done that. The plastic is just too thin and cheap. Fits the bass well though. .Sure it's cheap and fits the bass, but only barely. You have to force it closed. You have to take the strap off to get it to fit. The storage areas are open. And its made of the cheap plastic that breaks fast and can't be fixed. The only upside is that the inside looks ok. But it's still made of cheap plastic and hard foam. I suggest finding a better case if you can find one that fits such a small bass body.

.Other than the premium price for a fairly standard hardshell case, it's quite nice. Decent room for smaller stuff, tuner, strap, cable, but not much more.
I love the blue interior color, I had to go to Schecter's website to find that out before buying it. Wish Custom Guitar's Friend had more photos of it, mainly of it open.
If you have a Schecter bass, hit up their website to see what case fits best first. I saw other reviewers complaining of poor fit, not the case (pun!) with mine. It's a great fit.
I wish there was a little more room in the case for extra stuff, maybe some negative space in the top half of the padding to accomodate taller items. My stand is too tall and barely too long to fit.
The pockets are all molded well and the guitar pocket is molded perfectly for my Custom 4. The hinges and locks all work great and with the guitar inside, it balances well.
I wish the case was cheaper. It's more than the Gator case I wanted, but the Gator was going to have too much room for the body of my bass. The SGR-5SB is like a glove.

.I ordered this case at the same time as my Stiletto Studio 5 and its truly a perfect fit. It was especially nice knowing tis case protected my new guitar during shipping. Light and sturdy. several good sized open compartments and the lid seals them perfectly so nothing moves around during transport.

.The Stiletto 6 string fits nicely. I wouldn't leave the strap on anyway, but it will make the fit way too tight if you do.
Like most cases today, there is no compartment cover. Everything is open so a slide or capo or whatever will rattle around. Plenty of room in the compartments, need one covered one.
So far, no complaints. Haven't had it out in the back of the truck with a zillion other pieces of equipment yet. That will be the test.
Though I got it used in A condition it seems a bit on the high side price wise to be made of a much softer plastic than a Gator.
